Utorrent move files while downloading
· Posted Aug. Is anyone aware of any implication of defragging your harddrive while downloading? I've read somewhere that NTFS volumes can be defragged properly even during heavy file i/o write usage. I'm using utorrent and I'm typically downloading at 30 to 40 kbps, and on average uploading kbps. · Locate the download that you want to move to another drive in the uTorrent client. Right-click the download and stop it. This pauses downloads for the moment. Right-click the torrent again and select Advanced Set Download location from the context menu. Pick a folder on the other drive; Right-click the torrent and select Start. qBittorrent. Open the torrent file with your torrent client. Hello, I've been using Azureus for a long time and finally decided to try uTorrent. I really like uTorrent so far. One thing it's missing that's almost a deal breaker for me is ability to move files remotely via the web interface. I run my torrent client on another machine and I manage it remote via the web UI. Either go through the rechecking process by using the GUI, OR after stopping uT, use the Bencoded File Editor and use find/replace to "c:\old\path" -- to -- "x: ew\path" Actually, if they're already ERROR, it will need to recheck regardless, the BFE editor makes it easier you only make changes once. and then start the torrents one by one afterwards to recheck, and then continue seeding.
