Downloaded forge, no minecraft mods folder

 · Hey, so the problem i have is, ive found the mods i wanted for and put them into the mods folder topfind247.coaft. when i load minecraft using forge , it does not show any mods in the game, even though ive put them into the correct folder. . There are no mods included with the game, so you need to download them. Before you can make the game support them, you need to download Forge. Forge is an add-on for Minecraft: Java Edition which allows you to install the mods you downloaded and enable them.  · All you need to do is select the Game Directory option in the launcher and point it at a different directory. Then run Forge and it will create your mods folder in the directory you told it. I have a OS X / Mac and the Game Directory option isn't there. I am using the new launcher so that might be it.

Always use the latest Forge Version for each Minecraft Version, a Forge Version dont work with a Minecraft ;) Oh and i saw that for this Mod. Open Minecraft again and click Play, and the mods should now be loaded. You can check this by clicking the Mods tab on the Minecraft homepage. I have installed the recommended version of Minecraft Forge. I am now trying to download "Single Player Commands". However, I have put the Single Player Commands folder into the mods folder, and when I open Minecraft It says that I have 3 mods, which is the pre-made mods including Forge. So there is no Single Player Commands there.
